Pauline Cisneros, Ph.D.

Dr. Pauline Cisneros, Ph.D. is Laboratory Director of Houston IVF. She is board-certified for a High Complexity Laboratory Director. Dr. Cisneros graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a BA in biology and earned a MS in developmental biology from the University of Dayton. She then graduated from the University of Houston with a PhD in reproductive biology. Prior to serving as Laboratory Director of Houston IVF, Dr. Cisneros has been the IVF Laboratory Director at the University of Texas Medical Branch, the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Cisneros is a member of the American Association of Bioanalysts where she has inspected IVF labs for certification and the American Society of Reproduction where she has presented post-graduate courses, roudtables, posters, judged posters and served as the Chair of the Reproductive Biology Laboratory Special Interest Group. She has given lectures at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biological Science, the SMART program at Baylor College of Medicine and AltraVita IVF in Moscow, Russia. She has published articles in the areas of preimplantation diagnosis, prediction of pregnancy and sperm injection. Her interests in the field of reproductive biology include the cyropreservation of embryos and ovarian tissue, the determination of embryo quality and the preservation of endangered species.
