Clinical Trials

A clinical trial is a study conducted with patients, usually to evaluate a new treatment. Each study is designed to answer scientific questions and to find a new and better way to help patients. Those patients that participate in clinical trials are sometimes the first to receive and benefit from a new medication that is not yet available to the general population.

Lutrepatch Study
Houston IVF is presently enrolling participants in the Lutrepatch™ study. The Lutrepatch™ study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a new delivery method of an infertility medication for women who are trying to get pregnant and don't have a regular monthly menstrual cycle.

To qualify for this study you must:

  • Be a woman 18-38 years of age
  • trying to get pregnant
  • have an irregular monthly menstrual cycle (4 or fewer menstrual cycles per year OR have a menstrual cycle of more than 45 days)

Qualified participants will receive study medication, study related exams, and may receive compensation for time and travel.
