Finding the fertility clinic that is best for you is an important part of your infertility journey. One useful tool to help you make an informed decision about your care is the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) annual in vitro fertilization (IVF) success rates report.

SART is the primary organization of professionalshoustonivf.net/…/in-vitro-fertilization-ivfdedicated to the practice of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) in the United States. As a requirement for membership, SART-member fertility clinics must adhere to the highest standards for quality, safety and patient care. Every year SART members are required to report their success rates, which are then published for the public. Houston IVF is proud to say that we have been recognized as a SART member for the past 15 years.

The SART report provides both individual clinic results and national averages for IVF live birth success rates by age of the female partner, as well as live birth success rates for treatments using donor eggs. Pregnancy and live birth success rates are shown separately for cycles using fresh eggs and embryos and for cycles using frozen embryos.

The report also shows other statistics, including a breakdown of diagnosis categories for patients going through IVF treatment, and the average number of embryos transferred in the various groups. It also provides an in-depth look at the percentage of singleton, twin and triplet or higher pregnancies.

There is often a two-year delay in publishing the SART report since it takes a significant amount of time for SART to collect and verify the accuracy of the data.  The 2015 Preliminary National Data report shows that Houston IVF’s success rates (Live births per new patient) for women 40 years of age and under using their own eggs, is consistently higher than all other SART member clinics, as shown in the graphic displayed below. You can review our success rates in further detail on SART’s website.
